October 18-22, 2023 at The Westin Charlotte.
The NOBCO Conference is a forum for learning more about innovative ideas and progressive programs to enrich the impact of county officials and leaders. The NOBCO Conference is a time to network with county officials, business leaders, other government officials, community service providers and local communities.
Dear NOBCO Members,
The decision to move our conference out of Florida this year, made by the NOBCO Board of Directors, was a difficult but necessary choice that we do not take lightly. I understand that for those of you who registered to attend this year's conference this change in dates and destination will create inconveniences that we all would prefer not to bear.
For 2023 NOBCO Conference ticket holders, please see details regarding the suggested handling of registrations, flights, and previous hotel bookings below. On behalf of the NOBCO Board of Directors, I would like to extend great thanks to the Mecklenburg County Commissioners, whose rapid offer to move the conference to Charlotte-Mecklenburg, North Carolina allows us to live by our core values while ensuring that this year's conference - though delayed - will be strong, principled, and successful.

CONFERENCE RESCHEDULING DETAILS
FOR PREVIOUS TICKET HOLDERS

REGISTRATION TICKETS
If you registered for tickets to our conference at the previous location, your ticket is 100% transferrable and there is no need to take action or make any changes. We kindly ask that all ticket holders keep their previous commitment of attendance to our 37th Annual Conference in mid-October. Your tickets will be automatically transferred to our new location in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County, NC. The official location site and dates will be emailed directly to you as soon as possible for your scheduling purposes. Thank you for remaining committed to our cause.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
For any guests that made hotel reservations at the InterContinental Miami Hotel, please cancel your bookings immediately. You must cancel at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the arrival date in order to avoid a Cancellation or a No Show penalty. So the sooner you cancel, the better.

FLIGHT BOOKINGS
If you have already booked your air fair to Miami, FL and purchased trip insurance please utilize it to ensure a full refund. If a refund is not possible with your airline booking, we strongly suggest requesting a trip credit so it can be used in the near future to travel to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in October.
